About these terms

These terms govern your use of badgerdigital.co and any services provided by Badger Digital. By using the site or engaging us for work, you agree to these terms. We may update them; the "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.

Who we are

Badger Digital is a sole proprietorship based in Monroe, Wisconsin, providing local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and web design services to small businesses, primarily in Southern Wisconsin.

Use of this website

You may use this site for lawful, personal, and business research purposes. You may not scrape, copy, redistribute, or use the content of this site to train machine learning models without prior written permission.

Service engagements

Engagements begin once a written or emailed proposal is accepted by you and a setup payment is received. The proposal will state:

• The package or scope of work
• The setup fee and recurring monthly fee
• The first 90-day term
• Any deliverables we are responsible for and any items we need from you

Work begins within one week of acceptance unless otherwise agreed.

Payment

Setup fees are due before work begins. Monthly fees are billed on the first business day of each month and are due within seven days of invoice. Late payments may result in paused work until balances are settled.

Cancellation

The first 90 days is a minimum commitment because that's the time local SEO needs to begin producing measurable results. After 90 days, the engagement is month-to-month. You may cancel with at least 15 days' written notice (email is fine) before the next billing cycle. We may also end the engagement with 15 days' notice for any reason.

Cancellation does not refund prior monthly fees. Work delivered up to the cancellation date remains yours.

Ownership of work

Once an invoice is paid in full, you own the website content, copy, and assets we create specifically for you. We retain the right to display non-confidential portions of the work in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us not to.

Third-party tools, templates, plugins, and stock photography remain subject to their own licenses. Logos, fonts, and images you provide remain your property.

What we don't guarantee

SEO and digital marketing involve external systems we do not control (Google's algorithms, third-party directories, market conditions). We work hard, report honestly, and do what's known to move the needle, but we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or call volumes. Anyone who guarantees those things is selling something.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Green County, Wisconsin.
